Jason Silver, CPA, CA, CBV is a founding partner of Verity.

Prior to co-founding Verity, he was a Senior Director in the Toronto office of a large multi-national valuation and professional services firm within the Disputes, Investigations & Valuations practice.

Jason has specialized in business valuation and litigation support services since 2011. His valuation experience includes privately held business securities, employee stock options and restricted share awards. In the area of financial litigation support, he focuses on damage and loss quantification, the quantification of profits, forensic investigation and fund tracing.

Jason has prepared and critiqued numerous expert reports in connection with business securities valuation and financial litigation support matters, including those related to family law, commercial litigation, shareholder and partner disputes, forensic investigation, estate planning and corporate reorganizations.

In addition, he has attended and assisted in mediation and other private settlement proceedings.

Jason is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants Canada (CPA Canada) and Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators (CICBV). He obtained his Honours Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business in 2007.

Prior to focusing on business valuation and litigation support services, Jason worked in the audit and assurance group of a multi-national accounting firm serving public companies and investment funds.
