Kristen Solda, CPA, CA, CBV, CFF, is a founding partner of Verity.

Prior to co-founding Verity, she was a Senior Director in the Toronto office of a large multi-national valuation and professional services firm within the Disputes, Investigations & Valuations practice.

Kristen has specialized in business valuation and litigation support services since 2012.

She has prepared and critiqued numerous expert reports for business valuation and financial litigation support matters, including those related to family law, commercial litigation, shareholder disputes and forensic investigation.

Over the years, Kristen’s valuation experience has included businesses in a broad range of industries along with the analysis of privately and publicly held business securities, employee stock options and restricted share awards. Her financial litigation support experience includes damage and loss quantification, forensic investigation, fund tracing and income analyses for support purposes.

In addition, Kristen has attended and assisted in mediation and other private settlement proceedings.

Kristen facilitates professional development presentations for legal professionals in the Toronto area on various valuation and financial topics.

Kristen is a member of Chartered Professional Accountants Canada (CPA Canada) and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators (CICBV). She also has been Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). 

Kristen received a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University in 2008. 

Kristen began her accounting career within the audit and assurance practice of a multi-national accounting firm in the Toronto and New York offices. She later joined the accounting firms Valuation, Modelling and Dispute Analysis practice where she first gained experience in business valuations.
